Membership Committee
The Executive Forum prides itself on a high level of membership that understands the EF networking concept and would make a good member based on our criteria. The Membership Committee is responsible for handling membership.
Goal for 2005
• Have a net increase of 5 to 7 members for the year.
Membership Committee Duties
1. Chair is responsible for recruiting and supervising members in his committee.
2. Encourages member to bring guests.
3. Tracks guests and member activity in Guest Log (Excel Spreadsheet).
4. Follows-up with all guests, fills out Follow-Up Form and submits to Pres. (see PDF in Appendix).
5. Sends Member Application to potential new members (see PDF in Appendix).
6 Follows-up with potential applicants to make sure they submit application and know procedure.
7. Confirm member status with Treasurer to make sure dues are paid.
8. Make sure Webmaster has current members listed on website.
9. Maintain and distribute Member List (in Excel spreadsheet).
10. Presents Committee report on status of new members at meetings.
Membership Committee Report Format
1. Describe committee responsibilities and membership goals.
2. Identity committee members and solicit members to join it.
3. Announce number of current members and distribute member list.
4. Encourage everyone bring guests.
Dues
1. Membership dues are $600 per year
2. Annual membership is for the calendar year, January through December.
3. Dues must be paid by a date set by the Executive Committee within the first quarter.
4. A $50 discount may be offered if paid by date 1 month prior to the due date.
5. Dues may be pro-rated to $250 and $125 for members joining after June, and Sept. respectively.
6. Due must be paid in full. There are no payment plans.
7. Dues are paid by check, made out to The Executive Forum.
8. Dues are handled by the Treasurer (currently Doug Ruttenberg).
9. Members who do not pay in full may their membership cancelled at the discretion of the EC.
10. Member dues apply to individuals, not the companies they represent.
Category Exclusivity
The Executive Forum guarantees that a member will not be in conflict with another member. If a potential new member wishes to join the group, it is at the discretion of the current member.
