Spotlight

As a benefit of membership new members are given the opportunity to present to the group. Durring the course of the meeting, you are allowed a 15-minutes to describe what you do and to entertain questions.

The format is flexible - some members speak from their seats, some use handouts and some give presentations with a white board or a projecter. You are encouraged to handout your business cards, brochures, or other materials that describe what you do.

Suggestions for Presenting
• Keep it simple and focused.
• Convey a single expertise and what makes you different. If you have many areas, focus on one in this presentation. As members get to know what you do, you can discuss other areas.
• Summarize your business in a single sentence ro tagline that is easy to remember.
• Describe your ideal prospect.
• Show how you help your clients. Case studies are an excellent way to do this.
• Explain your process and fees.
• Provide handouts.
